Expense of studying in France

What are expenses for living? School fees? Rent? Expenses for food? Part-time job? How to register?

It takes long time to learn French. There are personal differences but it is necessary to study seriously at least 1.5 to 2 years. We encourage you to learn French really hard.

 

You should not waste your money to stay in France. Please try to save as much as possible. If you know how difficult to make money, it makes you motivated. You are allowed to have a part-time job from the second year (let us know if you want).

In addition, the prices of school dormitories are a little different, depending on a type of them. Next, calculation of tuition.

It is good to choose the house which is introduced by the school. Please make sure if they are responsible. If they are, it means that the place should be good to study.
You should be careful of a home-stay in France. It is not what you are thinking. Normally they accept students to make some money. We recommend you to avoid it if possible.

Usually you need the deposit, the reward, the guarantee, and four months of the rent.

Let's see now the necessary expenses to daily life :

food expenses + pocket money + transportation
Coffee and bread for breakfast (about 1.5€)

Therefore 9€ for a day x 30 days = 270€ per month

Each student manages their life by this budget and so do French students. If you are worried, it is better to have a little bit more.

For a year the budget minimum rises to environ11688€. While including the school expenses, of lodging, of food and of money of pocket (a café,un film to the movies etc.), it is possible, without doing excess or waste, to live a life of standard student. There are of course individual differences, but this budget represents the necessary amount for a student is in line with our school.

Of course it is possible to work side issue to win a little money, without saying that it is a matter of your studies in France, which damage to waste your precious time of study to do a small work. One can obtain a good salary with a level of too weak French, the two go pair. As much as possible, consecrate your first year only to the study of the French.

This budget is roughly it same that for the French students. Of more, we counsel yourself in case of urgency to foresee a budget of 1000€. It belongs to each of there to think, but for those that prefer to be quiet, more better is worth to warn than to heal. At last, the ticket round-trip ticket is not understood in the expense estimation above. The airplane bills know usually a price difference according to the seasons.

Watch to well to compare the prices between different airline company, you will find certainly the better market.

Has to leave the second year, you can work next to your studies and thus to cover a part of the school expenses. In our school the schedules of the courses are divided so that it be possible of about it to follow the most possible one. We open also free courses in the principal covered market, therefore not to hesitate to solicit us for there to participate. For example, while registering itself to the uniform courses of the afternoon, you will have 3 hours of course to disposal. Normally, in following these courses and while exercising itself sufficiently it is possible to arrive to a good rhythm of apprenticeship, but you also there can add the exchange courses with the French. When it is a matter of the apprenticeship of a language, the most important one is not the choice of the school but the one of the professor.
